New Passport Fee Hike

Department of State issued new passport fees for the U.S. Passport Book, the U.S. Passport Card, and other passport services went into effect on Tuesday, July 13th, 2010.

The schedule of new fees for passport application services is as follows:

U.S. Passport Book:
· Adults (Age 16 and older): First-Time, $110, Acceptance Fee, $25, Total applicant fee, $135.

· Adults: Renewal (applying with DS-82), $110, no additional acceptance fee.

· Minors (Under age 16), passport fee, $80, acceptance fee, $25; total, $105.

U.S. Passport Card:
· Adults (age 16 and older) First-Time: passport fee, $30; acceptance fee, $25; total, $55;

· Adults: Renewal: passport fee, $30; no acceptance fee; total, $30.

· Minors (under age 16): passport fee, $15; acceptance fee, $25; total, $40.

Other service fees:
· Additional visa pages, $82.
· File search fee, $150.
· Expedited processing, $60.
